We finally got news that they have started our homes {ha ha} They haven't actually started on "our" house but since all 6 houses have to be started & completed before any of us can move in, it is almost the same as if they had started ours. right!?! :-)
So far (as of last friday) they have excavated 2 lots (we went out Saturday and looked at the holes...boy, they were purty!) Today a soil engineer was supposed to come & test the soil and then give us the okay to pour the basements and continue on excavating the other lots. Our tentative start date (for our lumber drop) though, still isn't until October 18th...so we have a lot of waiting still left to do. wait. wait. wait. I must admit that I am struggling with this...

better go do something ;-)
