Happy Birthday Emerson

So on April 1 2010 our dear little Emerson turned 1. How crazy is that. Time sure does seem to go by fast lately... (we had a party for you on Saturday April 3rd----but don't worry, we went out to lunch on your actual birthday and let you eat a big cookie, so don't feel gypped!)

Present Time:

Mom & Dad: got you a brand new black IKEA dresser....and mom put it together 99.9% by herself. =) go me.

Audrey: got you a little cell phone with fun push buttons.

Grandma Karen: got you some shorts & shirts, some blue sports pants & a jacket.

Kari & Joey: some 18th month shorts & shirts....sorry buddy, but you're kind of little so it will be awhile 'till you can wear them. :-)

Grandma Barbara & Amanda: a fun alphabet train, and the outfit you are wearing in these pics.

Mike & Kelsey: a new blanket...which you cuddled right up to, and a cute little monkey.

This Vtech Alphabet train has literally been the best toy EVER! It is so fun, and Emerson just loves playing with all the blocks that go with it (you put them in the little slot at the front of the train and it shoots them back under the seat of the train) it plays songs, and helps you match letters (which Audrey loves)...and of course you could also ride it. =)

I am so grateful for my little guy! For your happy spirit, and excitement about learning new things. You are loved by everyone...especially me! Happy Birthday kiddo!
